Ronald Lee

Ronald Lee of Duncan died Thursday, August 10, 2023, at his home.

Memorial services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Military Honors to follow by The American Legion Hartman Post #84 Honor Guard. Visitation is 4:00-6:00 p.m. Monday at McKown Funeral Home. Interment will be in Jackson Cemetery in Duncan.

Ronald Lee was born February 3, 1937, on a farm near Ada, MN to Ingman and Olga (Odegaard) Lee.  He grew up in Minnesota and graduated from high school in 1956.  Following high school, he entered the US Navy and served from 1956-1960.  Ron was united in marriage to Nancy Holmes on March 8, 1959, in Arcadia, NE.  Ron and Nancy lived in numerous locales throughout the country.  Ron worked in the oil fields before returning to Nebraska where he owned and and operated his own construction business for over 20 years.

Ron enjoyed traveling, going on trips to Alaska and then Norway to explore his Norwegian heritage. He also enjoyed reading, gardening, and animals. Ron was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He loved the lord and had a well-worn bible.
