Ronald Cudaback of Columbus died Friday, January 4, 2019 at his home in Columbus.
Funeral services will are 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and 9:00 until the time of the service on Wednesday. Burial with military honors by American Legion Hartman Post #84 Honor Guard will be in the Columbus Cemetery.
Ronald was born July 30, 1933 in Ericson, Nebraska to Raymond and Nellie (Thomas) Cudaback. He grew up in Genoa where he received his education. He served in the United States Army and United States Air Force from 1956-1961. Ron married Mabel Patton on June 7, 1958 in Champaign, Illinois. They lived in Rapids City and Amarillo while Ron was in the service. They lived Columbus, David City and finally returned to Columbus in 1961. Ron worked with the Nebraska Department of Roads Highway Maintenance Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and showing his 1972 Chevy Pickup at car shows. Ron was known for his paintings on hand and circular saw blades.

8 Grandchildren-Lance, Travis, George, Mellissa, Nellie, Natalie, Casandra, and Damien
2 Great Grandchildren Candace Jo and Brantley
Special friend Jean Hembd and many nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Mabel in 2008 and 1 brother: Eugene
