Ronald L. Carlson

Ronald L. Carlson, age 74, of Osceola, Nebraska died Thursday, March 20, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Center in Osceola. Funeral Services are 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2008 at the United Methodist Church in Silver Creek, Nebraska with Reverend Tamara Holtz officiating. Visitation is 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 12 noon - service time Monday at the Methodist Church. Burial is in the Osceola Cemetery.

Ronald L Carlson was born April 21. 1933 in Polk County, Nebraska to C. R. "Rags" and Myrtle (Peterson) Carlson. he attended Riverside District #28 School and graduated from Osceola High School in 1950. He married Barbara Egly on March 4, 1951. He later married Janet Nightingale on April 4, 1981 at the Methodist Church in Silver Creek. Ronnie farmed and fed cattle in Polk County his entire life. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, Tehama Shriners Club and the York Rite of Free Masonry. Ronnie enjoyed fishing, dancing, playing cards and dominoes.
