Ronald L. "Skip" Broxterman died Monday, July 16, 2018 at his home in Columbus.
Ronald L. "Skip" Broxterman was born December 8, 1932 in Axtell, Kansas to Vincent and Lillian (Kotapish) Broxterman. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War from December 1952 until December 1956. Ronald married Edith Walters on October 3, 1953 in Denver, Colorado. They lived in Riverside, California before moving to Kansas. The couple then moved to Grand Island before moving to Columbus in 1969. Ronald worked at Montgomery Ward in the tire department at Marysville, Kansas, Grand Island and Columbus until the store closed. He then worked at Becton-Dickinson until retirement. Skip enjoyed riding Honda Gold Wing motorcycles.
