Romay died Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Genoa Long Term Care in Genoa, Nebraska.
Rose Marie "Romay" Wandro was born March 18, 1928 near Monroe, Nebraska to John and Monica (Augustyn) Sliva. She attended St. Michaels School in Tarnov. On May 29, 1951 Romay was united in marriage to Albert Wandro. The couple lived in Silver Creek where they owned and operated Al's Mobile Service in Silver Creek. After they sold the station, Al & Romay enjoyed travelling and visited all 50 states. Following Al's death in 1978 Romay worked part time at Little Joes in Silver Creek. She was a member of St. Lawrence Church, St. Anns Altar Society and the C.D.A.
