Roma Meyer

Roma G. Meyer was born June 12, 1938 in Jefferson County, Nebraska to Stanley and Isla Irene (Caldwell) She graduated from Fairbury High School and Midland College in Fremont. She taught school the first 4 years out of high school. She married Lawrence D. Meyer on August 25, 1959 in Helvey, Nebraska. She lived in Cedar Bluffs 1 year where she taught elementary music and kindergarten. They moved to Silver Creek in the fall of 1960 where she taught elementary school. She also taught at Riverside Country School for 8 years. Roma was a member of United Methodist Church in Silver Creek. She liked to play piano, sing and enjoyed camping, travelling and square dancing.
