Roger A. Hansen

Roger A. Hansen, age 78, of Columbus, died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Roger A. Hansen was born March 26, 1933 in Washington County, Nebraska to Alfred and Rena (Jensen) Hansen. He graduated from Tekamah High School. Roger served in the United States Army from 1953-1958. Roger married Theresa Kula George on June 1, 1991 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus. He worked for Lavern Bumper, Sapp Brothers and managed the American Legion Club. He was a past member of the Columbus Fire Department. Roger was an active Eagles Aerie member. He served the club as president was past father and grandfather of the year. He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family, friends and two dogs, Tucker and Jax.
