Rodney Ditter

Rodney Ditter, 72, of Monroe, died Friday, September 12 at his home.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Visitation is Monday from 4-7 p.m. at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus, Interment is in the Friends Cemetery. Following the cemetery, a lunch will be served at the Genoa Town Hall.

Rodney Ditter was born February 21, 1953, in Columbus, Nebraska to Henry and Mabel (Goedeken) Ditter.  He graduated from Monroe High School.  Rodney farmed all his life on the family farm near Monroe and was united in marriage to Cheryl Ingerslew. He served on the Oconee Township Board and was a member of Ducks Unlimited.
