Roberta J. Lovell passed away in the early morning hours of March 14, 2018 at Columbus Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Roberta was born August 4, 1931 to Fred R and Claudia (Collar) Schultz in Columbus Nebraska. She was the eldest daughter of nine children. She attended Columbus Public Schools and Graduated from Kramer High School in 1949. She was united in marriage to Dale J. Lovell on May 13, 1950. She was the matriarch of a very large family and is survived by 5 Siblings, Shirley (Robert) Durko of Fort Worth TX, , Janet Longnecker of Columbus NE, George (Linda) Schultz of Columbus NE, Herb (Nancy) Schultz of Columbus NE, Don Schultz of El Paso IL, 10 Children, Lorena (Mike) Breuer of Columbus Nebraska, Charlotte (Dave) Breuer of Norfolk NE, Patricia (Randy) Busse of Sioux Falls SD, Jan (Gary) Noyd of Shelby NE, Bette (Brad) Werts of Lincoln, NE, Dale Jr. (Teresa) Lovell of Phoenix AZ, Leonard Lovell of Columbus NE, Michelle Lowe of Columbus NE, Michael (Kelly) Lovell of Columbus NE, and Charles (Yvette) Lovell of Omaha NE, 28 Grand Children, 55 Great Grand Children and 2 Great-Great Grand Children as well as countless nieces ,nephews and cousins. She was employed in various places including Billies Caf, Becton Dickinson, Dales, A&W Drive In, RGIS, Columbus Telegram, and Tran Tec and was an integral part of the family business Dales Roofing.
Roberta lived her life for the Lord and her family spreading love and happiness to all who knew her. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Columbus and the Eagles Auxiliary. She had a heart of giving and volunteered in various organizations around Columbus. Nearly every Sunday of her married life, her children, grand-children and other family would be waiting for her to come home from Church for morning coffee and most of the time lunch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant child, two sisters, one brother, one infant granddaughter and several unborn souls.
