Robert Rouse

Robert H. Rouse, age 64, of Columbus, Nebraska died Sunday March 21, 2004 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral Services are 10:00 am Wednesday, March 24 at McKown Funeral Home with Reverend John Nelson officiating. Visitation is on Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 8:00 -10:00 am, all at McKown Funeral Home. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska.

Robert Hunter Rouse was born March 19, 1940 in Omaha, Nebraska to Virginia (Martin) DeGeorge. On June 25, 1961 he was united in marriage to Janet S. Gauss in Salem, MA. He moved to the Columbus area in 1986. He worked at Columbus Irrigation until retiring due to his health. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the Masonic Lodge. He loved fishing, hunting, and reading.
