Robert "Bob" Oncza, 69, of Columbus died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus. Private family services will be held with the Rev. Bill Ritter officiating. Interment is in Columbus Cemetery.
Robert Oncza was born February 18, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to Jake and May (Hicks) Oncza. He grew up in Madison Heights, MI. Bob graduated from High School in 1955 and went on to attend St. Louis University. He also served in the US Air Force.
Bob married Marsha Clark on November 20, 1971 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He lived in Oklahoma City until 1980 when he moved to Beatrice, NE. In 1984 he moved to Columbus. He was an accountant and did tax preparation out of his home. Bob was an avid reader, a Yankee fan, liked jazz music, and liked any team that beat Nebraska.
