Robert "Bob" Moss

Robert "Bob" Moss, age 71, died December 18th, 2023, in Lincoln.

Visitation will be from Thursday 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. December 28th, 2023, at McKown Funeral Home.

Bob was born February 2, 1952, to Robert and Alice (Loeffler) Moss in Columbus, joining his older brothers, David and John.  He grew up in Columbus and graduated from Scotus in 1970.  He married Cheryl Matulka and from this union, he welcomed his daughters, Dawn and Mandi.

Throughout his life, Bob lived in Columbus, North Platte and Omaha.  He worked at various jobs, including Behlen's, AGP and Ross's Steak house in Omaha, Napa Auto parts and most recently at Wal-Mart in Columbus.

In his spare time, he loved riding his Harley and spending time with friends, family and his kitties, Major and Twinkle.

In honor of "Bob" and his love of motorcycles please wear your favorite Harley Davidson gear to the visitation.

He is survived by:

Daughters:  Dawn Moss (Mark Henry) of Columbus and Mandi (Wayne) Wuest of Monroe

Brother:  John (Stella) Moss of South Carolina

Sister-in-Law:  Mary Moss of Texas

Grandchildren:  Eric Henry (Hanna Oberle), Ian Henry, Emilee Henry, Mitchell Moss, Joshua Dohmen and Kyle Wuest

He is preceded in death by:

Parents:  Robert and Alice Moss

Brother:  David Moss
