Rita Ellen Wilson, 72, gained her angel wings Thursday, April 11, 2019.

Rita's family and friends will remember her as a spunky redhead, who adored Elvis and savored juicy hamburgers and chocolate shakes. Rita was born August 7, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Travis and Frances (McKenzie) Hopson and was named after American actress and dancer, Rita Hayworth. She lived up to her name, captivating friends and family with her personality.

Husband: Melvin Wilson
Brother: DeWayne Hopson (Deborah Hopson)
Sister in law: Sandra Hopson
Grandchildren: Chasity Blair (Tyler Blair) Joshua Griffin, Justin (Kristine) Griffin, Jeremy (Nicole) Henry, Christopher Luettel, Zachary Luettel, Jazzlynn Myre, Ryan Myre
She's also survived by eight great grandchildren.
