Rick Hansen

Rick Hansen, age 66, died Monday, July 29, 2024, at his home in Columbus.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2024, at McKown Funeral Home.

Rick Hansen was born November 21, 1957, in Columbus to Gary and Betty (Becker) Hansen. He lived in Columbus and Fremont where he graduated from Fremont High School in 1976.  Rick served in the US Navy from 1977 until 1981.  Rick married Terri Brunkhorst on August 14, 1994, in Columbus.  He worked as a truck driver and groomed dogs at Terri's Dog Grooming.  He enjoyed relaxing and being outdoors.

Daughter Jessy (Dustin) Hill of Columbus
Daughter Maddie Carlson of Norfolk
Father Gary Hansen of Fremont
Brothers: Randy, Ron, Ryan and their families
Grandchildren: Miles, Malcom, Maven and Mila

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Betty Hansen
