Richard Zach

Richard Zach of Columbus died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at his home in Columbus.

Richard Zach was born July 8, 1927 in Humphrey, NE to Joe and Mary (Pfeifer) Zach. He was raised in Humphrey and graduated from Humphrey St. Francis in 1945. Richard married Henrietta Wieser on June 21, 1950 in Humphrey. He farmed in the Humphrey area until moving to Columbus in 1989. Richard was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus since he was 18, and previously served on the Humphrey St. Francis Parish Council. His interests included baseball, bowling, reading, and card playing. Most of all he was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
