Richard G. McHugh was born June 28, 1944 in Moorhead, Iowa to James and Ruth (McEvoy) McHugh. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from May 1967 May 1969. Richard married Ruth E. Hill on August 2, 1969 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus. He worked at Behlen Manufacturing until retirement. Richard was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Platte Center. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, watching westerns and husker football.
He is survived by:
