Richard D. Kula, formerly of Silver Creek, died Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Genoa Community Hospital.
Richard D. Kula was born September 13, 1938 in Genoa, Nebraska to Frank and Jean (Zelasney) Kula. On August 31, 1963 he was united in marriage to Carol Govern at SS. Peter and Paul - Krakow. They lived in Iowa and Grand Island, Nebraska for 15 years before returning to Silver Creek. Richard farmed, did custom haygrinding and bailing and grain transportation until retiring. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Silver Creek. Richard enjoyed farming and spending time with his grandchildren.
