Richard Jazwick

Richard Jazwick, age 59, of Platte Center, died Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at Mory's Haven in Columbus. Funeral Services are 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2007 at St. Joseph Social Hall in Platte Center. Visitation is 4-8 pm Thursday at the hall. There will be a vigil service Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.. Visitation will continue Friday afternoon 1:00 p.m. until service time at the hall. Burial will be in the Ss. Patrick/Joseph Cemetery.



Richard Jazwick was born November 22, 1947 in Platte Center, Nebraska to Edwin and Frances (Greisen) Jazwick. he received his early education at St. Joseph Grade School and graduated from Platte Center High in 1967. He married Jody Tomasek on November 22, 1986. Along with farming he worked for the Platte County Department of Roads for many years until illness forced his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his children and hunting. He was a member of of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
