Richard Brezenski of Nashville, TN, formerly of Columbus, died unexpectedly on August 16, 2014 in Nashville.
Richard J. Brezenski was born on October 18, 1955 in Columbus to Edward J. and Evangeline A. (Staroscik) Brezenski. Richard received his education in Nance and Platte County graduating from Columbus Senior High School in 1974. In 1978 Richard married Joan Gdowski in Fullerton, NE. To this union they had three children, Amanda Brezenski of Omaha, Adam of Columbus, and Angela of St. Petersburg, FL. Richard and Joan divorced in 1995. Richard moved to Norfolk in 2000 where he worked at IBP until the plant closing in 2006. He then transferred with the plant to Goodletsville, Tennessee.
Besides his children Richard is survived by brothers: Bernard (Paulette) Brezenski, Leonard (Theresa) Brezenski and Edward Jr. (Thrina) Brezenski; sisters: Rose (Leo) Rinkol and Sheila (Darin) Cielocha; brother-in-law: Mark Ciurej; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Patricia Ciurej.
