Richard "Rick" Boesch

Richard "Rick" G. Boesch, age 68, died Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Brookestone Acres in Columbus.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Visitation is Tuesday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. vigil service, all at the church. Interment is in All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of plants and flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to St. Anthony Church, St. Francis Church, or the donor's choice.

Rick was not a 'suit and tie' type of guy, the family requests all in attendance to wear their favorite golf polo.

Richard G. Boesch was born December 11, 1955, in Norfolk to Ed and Florice (Pfeifer) Boesch. He grew up in Humphrey and graduated from St. Francis High School in 1974. Following high school, Rick began his 46-year construction career. On September 22, 1979, he was united in marriage to Luanne Kobus at St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Rick was a faithful member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, where him and his wife, Luanne, attended Mass regularly. He was also proud to serve as a 4th degree knight with the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed serving on various committees and working the fish fry's during Lent. Rick enjoyed golfing and cheering on the Huskers and the Philadelphia Eagles. He also enjoyed his family, getting together with his boys and grandsons regularly to catch up on all of their activities.
