Reynold Christensen

Reynold W. Christensen, 88,of Columbus died Friday, January 21, 2005 at Mory's Haven in Columbus. Services are 10:30 am Wednesday at the Federated Church in Columbus with the Rev. Don Wilson officiating. Visitation is on Tuesday from 4-8 pm at McKown Funeral Home and continues Wednesday morning from 9:30 am until service time at the church. Interment is in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery.

Reynold W. Christensen was born October 7, 1916 in Lindsay, Nebraska to Andrew and Loretta (Johnson) Christensen. He grew up on the family farm north of Monroe where he also attended country school. He married Irene Weber on March 19, 1941 in Monroe. He continued farming until 1950 when he moved into Columbus. He worked for Kosch Manufacturing and Behlen Manufacturing until his retirement in 1980. He loved yard work, fishing, hunting, and playing ball. He was a member of the Federated Church.
