Regina P. Torson, age 84, of Silver Creek, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Bryan West in Lincoln.
Regina was born May 30, 1928 in Genoa, Nebraska to Joe and Helen (Forman) Czarnik. She grew up in Nance County, in the Krakow area. She was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church-Krakow. She married Steve Cuba in 1950. After Steves passing Regina married Bernard Torson in 1969 and was mother to Bernards children. Regina remained on the farm after the children had left. She enjoyed the outdoor life of fishing, gardening and watching wildlife. Regina retired to Silver Creek and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. She was a member of the Altar Society.
Regina is survived by sons: Ron (Pat) Cuba of Silver Creek and Don (Peg) Cuba of Genoa, husband: Bernard Torson of Columbus children: Tom (Paula) Torson of Ponca, Joan (Todd) Sock of Silver Creek, Patty (Mark) Lundgren of Omaha, Sharon (Paul) Borowiak of Silver Creek, Andy (Tannie) Daniels of Monroe, Dan Daniels of Lakewood, CO, Shirley (Gary) Meyers of Newcastle, CO 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, brother: Louis Czarnik of Valley, sister-in-law: Jane Czarnik of Genoa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband: Steve Cuba, sisters: Monica Tworek and Sophie Cheloha and brother: Steve Czarnik
