Raymond Kolm, Sr.

Raymond W. Kolm,Sr. ,85, of Columbus died Sunday, August 11, 2002 at the Columbus Manor. Funeral services are 10:30 am Wednesday at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus with the Rev. Tom Weisbecker officiating. Visitation will begin after 3:00 pm Tuesday at McKown Funeral Home with a Vigil service at 7:00 pm, also at the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Wednesday morning from 8-10 am at McKown Funeral Home. Interment will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery with Military Honors by Hartman Post #84 American Legion Honor Guard.

Raymond W. Kolm was born April 2, 1917 in Columbus to Fred W. and Victoria (Koziol) Kolm. He attended Columbus City Schools. He served in the US Army during WWII from January 31, 1942 until December 11, 1945. On April 4, 1948 he married Maxine Sayers in Columbus. He lived in Columbus where he worked as a plumber. He was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, the American Legion, Eagles, Elks, and the VFW.
