Raymond B. Liss, age 80 of Columbus died Sunday, November 14, 2010 at the V.A. Hospital in Omaha.
Raymond B. Liss was born December 18, 1929 in Fullerton, Nebraska to Peter and Helen (Urkoski) Liss. He moved to Columbus at an early age where he received his education at St. Bonaventure School. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Ray married Evelyn Koziol on May 20, 1953 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Fullerton. They lived in Columbus where he owned and operated Ray's Bar. He then worked for General Telephone for many years until his retiement in 1990. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and V.F.W. Post #3704. Ray enjoyed gardening, playing pitch, fishing, cooking and spending time with his family.
