Raymond "Ray" Bonk, age 87, of Columbus died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Mory's Haven in Columbus.
Raymond F. Bonk was born August 8, 1924 in Columbus to Charles and Anna (Kuta) Bonk. He attended St. Anthony's school and St. Joseph College in West Mont, Illinois. Ray was united in marriage to Gloria Korgie on June 12, 1950 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. He worked as a sales rep for Hadley Braithwait from 1948 until his retirement in 2010. Ray was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church where he previously served as the choir director and an EMHC. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he served on the initiation team, the Holy Name Society, and the Eagles Club.
