Randy Werts

Randy Werts, age 66 of Chapman, died Thursday at his home in Chapman.

Memorial services are 10:30 am Friday, October 25th, 2019 at McKown Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Randy Werts was born March 4, 1953 in Columbus, Nebraska to Lloyd "James" and Lois (Semrau Odermatt) Werts. He received his education at Columbus High School. In April 1972 he married Joyce McKee at the First Baptist Church in Columbus. To this union Jennifer and Jeff were born. He lived in Lincoln before moving to Grand Island. Randy married Lee Ann Prososki in December of 1981. Randy operated Midwest Rebuilders along with his brother Jimmy. Randy also had his own antique business. He enjoyed cars, antiques, going to auctions, fishing, collecting coins, spoiling his dog Gypsy and was a collector of all.

Stepsisters – Joyce Lynn Martinez of Omaha, NE; Linda Rae Barnett of Salina, KS; and Crystal Kay Pearson of Hutchinson, KS
