Randy died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Randall Wayne Melcher was born December 27, 1958 in Columbus, Nebraska to Dean and Linda (Sawyer) Melcher. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1977. Randy worked for Gertsch & Rankin Construction before going to work for Werner Trucking in St. Edward, Nebraska. He was currently driving truck for Grand Island Express. Randy loved horses and being on the road.
