Ralph A. Sliva, age 79 of Newman Grove, Nebraska died Monday, July 7, 2003 at the Boone County Medical Center in Albion. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday; July 10, 2003 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus. The Rev. Rodney Kneifl will officiate. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be in St. Michaels Cemetery-Tarnov, Nebraska
Ralph A. Sliva was born March 28, 1924 in Tarnov, Nebraska to John and Monica (Augustyn) Sliva. He received his education in Tarnov. Following school he farmed with his father, worked at the elevator in Tarnov, Dale Electronics, Elks Country Club and the John Deere Implement Dealer in Columbus.
He is survived by his sister Romay Wandro of Silver Creek, Nebraska.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-Irene Kudron, brothers-Ervin and Richard
