Peter Sleddens

Pete Sleddens of Columbus died Monday, September 7, 2015 at Brookestone Acres in Columbus.

Peter Sleddens was born April 3, 1925 in Butler County, NE to John and Lena (Jacobs) Sleddens. He grew up in Butler County, Columbus, and Monroe. Pete was drafted into the US Navy during World War II. He married Stella Plebanek on September 13, 1958 in Duncan. Pete worked for Behlen Manufacturing for 32 years in the Tool and Die Department. He then went to work part time at Blazer Manufacturing for 11 years. He was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the VFW. Pete loved to fish, take care of his yard, and gardening. He thought the world of his grandkids and great grandkids.

Son James (Sherry) Sleddens of Kissimmee, FL
Daughter Lori (Kevin) Moore of Columbus
5 Grandchildren: Tina (Corey) Gottsch, Billy (Amy) Soulliere, III, Michelle (Brandon) Paczosa, Andrea (Brandon) Brudigan, and Adam Moore
7 Great Grandchildren: Liam and Harlow Soulliere, Dillon Gottsch, Breyton Moore, Oliver, Noah, and Elliot Paczosa
