Paul Donoghue of Columbus died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Cottonwood Place in Columbus.
Paul Donoghue was born May 23, 1924 in Columbus to Dan and Elizabeth (Macken) Donoghue. Paul went to Platte Center rural schools before graduating from Kramer High School in Columbus in 1942. He was united in marriage to Gladys Blaser on August 18, 1948 at St. Bonaventure Church. Paul and Gladys farmed northwest of Columbus before moving north of Duncan in 1956 where he farmed until moving into Cottonwood Place in Columbus. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church in Duncan where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and served as an officer. Paul was also a member of the ASCS Board, 4-H leader, and a member of the Duncan District 16 school board. He enjoyed going to the sale barn every Saturday, going for drives, and morning coffee. Paul loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren.
