Pat Galley died Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Patrick E. Galley was born September 4, 1964 in Columbus, Nebraska to Vincent and Linda (Week) Galley. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1983. While in high school Pat played football and wrestled for the Discoverers. He was selected to the all-conference football team in 1982-1983 and played in the Shrine Bowl. He was also a member of the 1982 state champion wrestling team and placed 3rd in the 1983 state wrestling meet. After high school Pat attended Nebraska Wesleyan University where he played football and was voted freshman lineman of the year. Pat returned to Columbus where he worked as a machine operator at Appleton Electric. He also worked for Ewert Drywall and was currently employed at Cargill Meat Solutions in Columbus. Pat enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting and softball. His greatest passion was playing golf and watching it on T.V. Pat was a member of St. Bonaventure Church.
