Patrick Favors

Patrick A. Favors, 55, of Columbus went home to be with the Lord on November 28, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family following a courageous battle with cancer.

Patrick A Favors was born on August 10, 1959 to Charles Favors and Ruth Kammerer. In 1981 he married Joni Jahn of Columbus. They had three children from this marriage; Stacy, Brad and Nick. Patrick attended Joplin High School in Missouri before later moving to Columbus. There he worked various jobs before eventually ending up at Husker Coop where he has been employed for twenty-five plus years. Husker Coop was bought out by Frontier Coop which have generously supported his whole family through Pat's rough battle.

During his down time Pat enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. he enjoyed going for bike rides with his kids and genuinely loved spending time with his wife and kids. Any given weekend you could find him cooking in the kitchen for his family and friends and he wouldn't object to a day out shopping with his wife. If a friend called and needed anything he would never hesitate to get out there and do it. He was a hardworking dedicated family man and a very hardworking loyal employee.

Survivors include his wife Joni of Columbus, daughter Stacy (Ben) of Columbus, and sons Brad and Nick of Columbus. Brothers Ed Favors of Columbus, Mike (Shelly) Favors of Missouri, Rod (Rana) Favors of Columbus, and sisters Charlotte (Doug) Schwartzer of Montana and Cheryl June of Blair and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Preceding Patrick in death are his parents.
