Patricia Rountree, age 60 of Columbus, died Monday, December 8, 2025.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Friday, December 12 at St. Isidore Church. Visitation is on Thursday from 5-7 pm with a 7:00 pm Vigil service, all at St. Isidores. Visitation continues Friday morning from 9:30 am until service time at the church. The graveside service will follow a luncheon at the church at the David City Cemetery at 2:00 pm.

Patricia “Patty” Rountree was born June 20, 1965, in Schuyler to Ludvik and Marcella (Stepanek) Husak. She grew up in Columbus where she graduated from Columbus High School in 1984. Patty married Steven Rountree and together they had two daughters. Patty worked for Appleton before moving on to Becton Dickinson where she worked until her retirement.

Patty loved horseback riding, thrifting, and spending time with her grandkids at their events. She was a very kind and loving mom and nana who loved to be with her family and others. Patty enjoyed country line dancing and karoke. She was a member of St. Isidore Church.
