Patricia Hughes

Patricia A. Hughes, age 85, of Columbus died Sunday, July 29, 2018 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Patricia was born December 3, 1932 in Plainview, Nebraska to Harold and Mercedes (Slobodny) Harmon. She grew up in Plainview. Patricia graduated from Norfolk High School in 1951 and attended Norfolk Junior College. She married Howard Hughes on November 27, 1952 St. Patrick Catholic Church in Battle Creek. They moved to Columbus in 1966. Along with raising her family Pat helped her husband in their New York Life Insurance Agency. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and Columbus Area Right To Life. She was a devoted mother and wife and enjoyed spending time with her family

brother: Ron (Carolyn) Harmon of, MO
13 Grandchildren 16 Great Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents: Harold & Mercedes Harmon, grandson: Jed Skinner
