Patricia Headrick of Columbus died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Mory's Haven in Columbus.
Patricia "Pat" was born April 16, 1928 to Margaret (Leimser) Louis and Laurence Dooly Kinnan. She was raised by Frank and Lucy Leimser and grew up in Polk county attending District 4 School and graduated from Kramer High in Columbus in 1946.
Pat worked at JC Penney and Levine clothing stores in Columbus. She married Ken Headrick on January 17, 1949 at St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus. They lived in Columbus, moved to Fremont where their daughter, Beth, was born and in 1957 moved to Omaha where Patricia lived until she became ill.
Pat was employed by several businesses doing office work as medical assistant for 5 years, worked at an advertising promotional company and was a beauty counselor since 1961.
She enjoyed yard work and especially liked flowers including roses and different varieties of iris.
Pat is survived by daughter, Beth Allen of Bay Area of California; grandchildren Renata Hackley of Chicago, Andrew Hackley of Denver, Marina Grace Allen of New York and David Allen of Chicago; sister, Judy (Lynn) Crozier of Lincoln; brothers, Marvin (Evelyn) Louis of Columbus, and Warren (Sana) Louis of Billings, Montana; aunt, Viola Leimser of Columbus and many nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Louis; sister, Elaine Strongin; and grandparents, Frank and Lucy Leimser; aunts and uncles.
