Patrice Orr

Patrice Marie Orr, age 70, passed away on October 4, 2024, in Eugene, Oregon after a valiant six-and-a-half-year battle with lung cancer. Born on November 7, 1953, in Columbus, Nebraska, Patrice was a cherished member of her community and a loving homemaker and mother.

Patrice graduated from Columbus High School in Nebraska. She married Roy J. Orr also of Columbus, Nebraska, in August of 1973. Together, they created an extraordinary and loving family. Her life was marked by immense courage and resilience, qualities that were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Patrice is survived by her siblings: Karen Ward of Walnut Creek, California; Marilyn Broz of Henderson, Nevada; Mary Watchorn, Tim Kuta and, Terry Kuta all of Columbus, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Kuta and Mary Siemek, and her siblings, Kathy Sweenie of Castro Valley, California; Peggy Kruse of Duncan Lakes, Nebraska; Betty Hegi and Christine Kuta, both of Columbus, Nebraska.
