Pamela "Pam" Gronenthal died Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at her home at Duncan Lakes.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Friday, August 23 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. Visitation with family is 5-7 pm Thursday at McKown Funeral Home with a 7:00 pm Vigil service to follow, also at the funeral home. Visitation continues on Friday morning from 9:30 am until service time at the church. Interment is in Roselawn Cemetery.
Pamela Lynn Gronenthal was born March 30, 1952 in Columbus to Medrick "Odie" and Hildegarde "Hodgie" (Theewen) Odgaard. She grew up in Columbus where she attended St. Bonaventure Grade School and graduated from Columbus High School in 1970. Pam worked at Dale Electronics and Scott's TG&Y in her younger years. Pam ran her parents' bar, Odie's Tip Top until the early '90's. She then opened her own dog grooming business, Waggin' Tails.
Pam married Bill Saalfeld in 1973 and to this union one daughter was born, Julie. Pam later married Gale Gronenthal on February 14, 2002 in Las Vegas.
Pam was a previous state champion pool player, loved her pets, gardening, and life on Duncan Lakes.

Sister: Adrienne (Kerry) Bensman of White Castle, MO
Brother: Dennis "Butch" (Diane) Odgaard of Columbus
