Norman T. Micek was born May 5, 1926 in Columbus, Nebraska to Thomas and Vera (Boro) Micek. He graduated from Polk County schools and the University of Nebraska College of Engineering. He married Elizabeth Laska on May 1, 1965 in Duncan, Nebraska. Norman had worked on the East Coast and Chicago areas before retiring in Nebraska.
