Norman Cook

Norman died Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at his home in Columbus.

Norman F. Cook was born December 9, 1932 near St. Bernard, Nebraska to Jacob and Gertrude (Schaefer) Cook. He grew up on a farm near St. Bernard and attended St. Bernard School. On February 23, 1957 Norm was united in marriage to Deloras M. Dieter at St. Leonard's Catholic Church in Madison, Nebraska. The couple raised their family in Monroe, Nebraska where he worked for the Monroe Alfalfa Mill, Gerhold Concrete and then for the Platte County Highway Department until retiring. Norm was a member of St. Isidore Church. He enjoyed spending time with family and visiting with friends.
