Norma Hassebrook, age 83, died Monday, February 3, 2020 at Countryside Home in Madison, NE.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Zion Lutheran Grand Prairie Church in rural Platte Center.
Norma was born April 25, 1936 in Creston to Connie and Viola (Buxius) King. She grew up in the Creston area and graduated from Creston High School in 1953. Norma married Edward Vacha Jr. in 1953. After her first husband's death in 1960, Norma met William Hassebrook. On May 25, 1963 the couple was married at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Creston. She worked various jobs around Columbus. Norma enjoyed bowling playing cards with friends, walking, and bowling. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Grand Prairie, was a member of ladies aid and the church choir.
