Norbert died Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Columbus Community Hospital.
Norbert J. Zoucha was born January 3, 1934 in Humphrey, NE to Mike and Leona (Tworek) Zoucha. Norbert was drafted into the US Army where he served as a Medic from 1954-1956 spending 18 months in Panama. Norbert was united in marriage to Betty Nienaber on April 25, 1959 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lindsay. He was a lifetime farmer and cattle feeder in the Lindsay area before retiring to Columbus in 2012. Norbert was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, and the Joliet Township Board. He sang in the church choir and coached Little League Baseball for a number of years. Norbert dearly loved thoroughbred race horses and also enjoyed playing cards.
