Nathan Ray Dohmen

Nathan R. Dohmen, 45, of Clarks, NE, passed away unexpectedly on October 23,2026.

Nathan's family will receive friends from 4-6 pm Saturday, November 7 at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus.

Nathan was born in Columbus, Nebraska, he enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially spending time with his family, and lending a helping hand on the farm. He had a passion for cooking, particularly smoking meats and loved sharing good food with the people he loved

Family meant a great deal to him. He especially treasured spending time with his son, niece, and nephews. He had a special love for animals and always being around them.

One of his memorable qualities was talking to anyone he met. He could always strike up a conversation; he always had something to say or talk about.

Nathan’s passing has left a tremendous emptiness in the hearts of his family and friends. While his life ended far too soon, the memories of his laughter, conversations, kindness and the time spent together will remain with those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving Mother, Brother, son, aunts, uncles, niece and nephews, as well as many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and two uncles.
