Myrle Hadcock, age 88 formerly of Columbus, died Friday, August 13, 2021, in Omaha.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Visitation is 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday with a 7:00 PM vigil service, all at McKown Funeral Home. Burial is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery with Military Honors by the Hartman Post #84 American Legion Honor Guard.

Myrle E. Hadcock was born September 1, 1932, in Columbus to Carryl and Ro sella ( Schiltz ) Hadcock . He graduated from St. Bonaventure Hig h School in 1951. On March 28, 1950, Myrle joined the Army National Guard. On June 22, 1954, Myrle was united in marriage to Pauline Lewis in St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus. He was a longtime employee of Nebraska Public Power Distric t. He took pride in being a registered Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and eve n became an instructor to teach new EMTs at Platte College. Myrle was a member of the American Legion Hartman Post #84 where he served on the funeral honor guard. He was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church and a 4 th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed building model ships and photography.
