Mona Lavelle

Mona Mary Lavelle, formerly of Ulysses, David City and Fremont passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Golden Living Center following a battle with Alzheimers Disease for the past several years.

Mona Mary Lavelle was born April 29, 1921 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Daniel and Martha Mechum. She married Leo Lavelle Sr. in 1938 and proceeded to spend most of her lifetime as a homemaker to her two children. In their later years, she and Leo enjoyed buying houses and renovating them for re-sale. She enjoyed traveling and lived in most of the western states as Leos construction employment activities kept them moving from job to job. She and Leo settled in Colorado in the early 50s until Leos death in 1996. She returned to her original roots in Nebraska in 1997.

Grandchildren: Rodney Lavelle of Lewes, DE and Troy Lavelle of Crofton, MD
Daughter-in-law: Donna Lavelle of Roseville, CA
Grandchildren: Nicole Alderman and Rick Lavelle also of Roseville, CA
Five Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild
