Milton Swanson

Milton Dean Swanson was born April 9, 1925 in Richland, NE to Norman and Evelyn (Muehlich) Swanson. He was raised and attended schools in the Schuyler area. He married Angela Johnson on April 3, 1945 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. Milt worked as a route salesman for Peter Pan for 17 years before operating Swanson's Market for 30 years until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society, and was a retired Volunteer fireman on the Hook and Ladder Unit. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
