Milford A. Mooney

Milford Mooney of Columbus died Friday January 9, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.

Milford A. Mooney was born August 15, 1913 in Oakdale, Nebraska to Jesse B. and Clara E. (Wiehn) Mooney. He attended St. John's School in Petersburg. On August 22, 1953 he was united in marriage to Bernice B. Darling Peterson at St. Mary's Church in Wayne, Nebraska. Milford worked 14 years as a ranch hand at Huffman's Ranch at Ewing, NE and worked 16 years as a custodian for Columbus Public Schools. He was a member of Council 1918 of the Knights of Columbus in St. Paul and a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus.
