Mike died Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Veteran's Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska
Mike Casey was born February 4, 1957 in Tucson, Arizona to Al and Maxine (McKay) Casey.
He served in the U.S. Army being stationed in Germany from February 1975 - December 1976.
Mike owned & operated Mike Casey's Music Room in Columbus with teaching, recording and equipment sales from January 2000 - March 31, 2009. Mike taught at Northeast College in Norfolk. In addition to being a soloist, Mike played in the Columbus Jazz Orchestra. He also played with Bill Haack as a duet called Unwound and in a group called Silver Springs, among others. Mike loved to participate in Columbus community events.
Our family truly loved Mike and he will be dearly missed. He enriched so many lives and shared the joy of music with all whom he taught. We thank everyone for their caring support.
