Michael L. Messersmith

Michael L. Messersmith, age 66, of Columbus, died Thursday, August, 20, 2015 Creighton Medical Center in Omaha.


Michael was born July 21, 1949 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Robert and Roberta (Feichtinger) Messersmith. At an early age he moved to Columbus with his family. He attended St. Bonaventure High School. Michael served in the Air Force from 1968 until his retirement in 1988. Michael married Plern Boonyaluk on June 6, 1986 in Washington State. Following his retirement he worked at various locations in Columbus. He loved car shows, antiques and coin collecting. He was a member of St. Bonaventure Church.

and many nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Raymond Lacy and nephew Matthew.
