Michael Hays

Michael Hays age 66 of Columbus, died Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the Columbus Community Hospital.

A Celebration of Michael's life will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023, at McKown Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 at the funeral home.

Michael G. Hays was born August 12, 1956, in Lima, Ohio to Rodney and Patricia (Lee) Hays. He attended and graduated high school from Columbus High School. He joined the US Navy following high school.
He was united in marriage to Tamra Potter in 1983. Mike enjoyed playing a variety of sports, especially softball. He also enjoyed fishing and camping, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Cornhuskers and the Dallas Cowboys.
