Michael J Dush

Michael J. Dush of Columbus died Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Edgewood Vista in Columbus.

Michael was born August 2, 1952 in Columbus to Walter and Esther (Weidler) Dush. He grew up in Duncan where he attended St. Stanislaus Elementary then went to Columbus High School where he graduated in 1970. Mike received his Associate's Degree from Platte College in 1972. He went on to Arizona State University before returning to Nebraska where he graduated from University of Nebraska with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Mikes career started at the National Bank of Commerce and at the Valentinos Corporate Office in Lincoln. He then moved to Tempe, Arizona where he worked for various banks. Mike returned to Nebraska in 2011 due to his health. Mike was a member of the Alumni Association at both UNL and at ASU. His hobbies included watching Nebraska Football and Arizona State Baseball and football. He would frequently return to Omaha to watch the College World Series games. Mike loved all sports, he also enjoyed reading and spending time with his nephew Tyler.
